From the day I fell in love with photography, I would see the world through black and white film. Almost every image I create has the capability of transcendence when all that remains are the lights and shadows in monochromatic beauty. I've been hesitant to share a full wedding post in all black and white wondering who may not understand why. But I knew of all my weddings, Keeley would truly appreciate this; her being a fellow photographer and former college classmate.

So here I present to you, her wedding in Black and White! All of the beauty is held in the shapes and textures, light and dark; not how green the grass or blue the sky is, but in each pure moment.

Baby Rita

Shamefully, over a year has passed since my last blog post. I suppose that's what happens when you have a baby of your own. But I felt compelled to pick back up my momentum with this insanely adorable lifestyle newborn portrait session. Baby Rita was only a week old to the day for this session and she was such a wonderful little model. Her energetic brother kept me on my toes and I captured some candid portraits of him as well but Rita stole the show! With her beautiful head of hair and rare but infectious smile... who couldn't totally fall in love!

From their engagement session I knew these two would be a blast to photograph on their wedding. Boy did I underestimate that! David, Molly & Holly

I've known David for the past 17 years! I have watched him grow from just the small little brother of my best friend, to this amazing young man. As a recent graduate from West Chester University, he is planning a big move with his girlfriend and pup to Ohio for a great job opportunity. I was so honored he asked me to photograph them together before leaving. I am going to miss David and I wish he and his little family the best!

Big brother to-be

From when he was just a tiny 6 month old, I have been photographing Nicholas. Now 3 years old, he is preparing to be a big brother! He loves his mom and dad and loves even more having all of the attention. But the more I talked to him, the more I hear how excited he is to take on the role of being a big brother. From checking his mommy's tummy to giving her a rose and a kiss because "mommy's beautiful"; Nicholas is ready to show his new baby brother or sister just how to win the hearts of everyone around.

Brandy + Kevin

Despite the freezing cold air and snow on the ground, Brandy and Kevin tied the knot in the cozy, rustic, 2nd floor room at the Northbrook Market Place. The low hanging ceilings and solid wood rafters draped in string lights and handmade nuances, made for a beautiful and quaint ceremony. Brandy's light purple wedding dress perfectly accompanied the laid-back, no-nonsense feeling of their special day. Add in a comfort food filled buffet, famous apple cider doughnuts and a ton of friends and family tearing up the dance floor; and I say you have one successful stress free wedding! Congratulations to you both!

Ashley + Todd

Ashley and Todd tied the knot on a beautiful but chilly November day. I was so happy to be asked to photograph her wedding since 2 years prior I had the opportunity to photograph her Matron of Honor's wedding! It meant so much to be asked back for another amazing family event.

Despite the warmest of thoughts, we retired our outdoor photos to the stunning interior of The Park Savoy Estate in NJ. It's vintage throwback to the romantic 20's is the perfect backdrop for a bride and groom's portraits. Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Danielle & Clint + One

It's hard to put into words how much my friends mean to me. When they ask me to photograph for them to document a very special moment in their lives, it's an honor I can't describe. So when Danielle and Clint, who I have known for years, ask me to photograph them for the first time I was so excited and even nervous! It's been over 3 years since this couple tied the knot and I have been secretly anticipating this moment... They are expecting a baby!

So we walked around my absolutely favorite spot in Lansdale, the abandoned freight station, and had so much fun together. We laughed and shivered and I photographed way more images than I would have expected. But just look at them?! Cute, photogenic and glowing with anticipation. I love these two and can't wait for little baby Zoey!! Coming February 2015...

"We're all mad here..."

Tiffany and Josh's wedding was filled with tons of subtle nuances to perfectly compliment their Mad Hatter theme. Feathers and pastels along with strong purples and hand crafted decor made the most personalized and festively fun wedding!

100% of the decorations were painstakingly designed and set up by Tiffany and her amazing bridal party and family. Tiffany's brooch bouquet was made up of bridal shower gifts and assembled by her matron of honor Kris Yablonski.

If it weren't for the magical magnetic forces of the world, I may never have met these two! Through the most amazing coincidence, the 3 of us met and became fast friends with the mutual feeling of a long lost connection.

These two are so in love it's insanely adorable. Their utter admiration for each other is memorable and their laugh together, infectious. Their dreamlike tie is only a fraction of what it will be like on their wedding day. I sincerely can't wait to photograph every beautiful moment of that very much anticipated day!
