Keeley + Logan

From the day I fell in love with photography, I would see the world through black and white film. Almost every image I create has the capability of transcendence when all that remains are the lights and shadows in monochromatic beauty. I've been hesitant to share a full wedding post in all black and white wondering who may not understand why. But I knew of all my weddings, Keeley would truly appreciate this; her being a fellow photographer and former college classmate.

So here I present to you, her wedding in Black and White! All of the beauty is held in the shapes and textures, light and dark; not how green the grass or blue the sky is, but in each pure moment.

Baby Teagan

Newborn babies can be difficult to work with sometimes as they're sensitive to being poked and prodded and molded for hours on end; but Teagan was the exception to the rule. Over 3 hours of modeling and she was a perfect little angel! The love between her and her brothers and her and her mommy and daddy was almost too much to handle. This is why lifestyle portraiture is my specialty and pulls hard at my photography heart strings!

Here's To New Beginnings!

I have worked tirelessly over the past 12 months to bring some kind of balance to my life. From learning the ins and outs of being a mom, to buying my first house through the busiest of wedding and holiday seasons and now navigating the way to stand out in this industry!

So today... in one single solitary day... I completely revamped my website! I needed something fresh and new and (hopefully) easier to keep up with! I have so much amazing work to share and am really ready to commit to sharing everything I feel so passionate about! Enjoy!

Baby Rita

Shamefully, over a year has passed since my last blog post. I suppose that's what happens when you have a baby of your own. But I felt compelled to pick back up my momentum with this insanely adorable lifestyle newborn portrait session. Baby Rita was only a week old to the day for this session and she was such a wonderful little model. Her energetic brother kept me on my toes and I captured some candid portraits of him as well but Rita stole the show! With her beautiful head of hair and rare but infectious smile... who couldn't totally fall in love!
